Committees : The Community Health Nursing Academic Committee

The Community Health Nursing Academic Committee was established as a temporary committee in 2012 and will operate until 2014, during the term of the sixth board of directors. The purpose of this committee is to define “community health nursing,” present the findings of academic conferences and clarify methods of training and the role of “community health nursing” in basic nursing education. As an academic society, we evaluate developments in science and social welfare, providing background knowledge to support the general recruitment of nurses. In 2013, we held a seminar for the board of directors on the theme of “region as the basis of life.” When it comes to defining community health nursing, we consider the opinions of all members. We study and propose ways to include community health nursing training in basic nursing education.
